Rashid Mohammed has been a Woking Borough Councillor representing Pyrford Ward for the past two years and is seeking your support for his re-election in 2018.
Together with fellow Pyrford ward councillors Ashley Bowes and Graham Chrystie, he believes in following up on issues raised by residents, tackling anti-social behaviour, and preserving the Pyrford environment, particularly the Green Belt.
All three Conservative Councillors are working with residents’ groups to get the results Pyrford deserves. Rashid has lived in Woking since 1974 and was educated at local schools. He lives in Maybury, now in Pyrford ward, is married and has three daughters.
He has long been involved in a variety of community activities, is a former executive member of the Pakistani Welfare Association and was first elected as a Conservative Councillor for Maybury and Sheerwater in 2013. With the electoral boundary changes in 2016, he was elected as a Councillor for Pyrford.
“It is a great privilege to be selected for the third time to represent the ward where I live,” said Rashid. “I look forward to meeting as many residents as possible during my campaign.”
