**WOKING’S MP REFUSED TO STAND AGAINST GROOMING GANGS – WHY?**
Woking’s MP had the chance to take a stand against one of the most horrific crimes in our society—grooming gangs. Instead, when it came to a crucial vote, our MP **abstained**.
This was not just a procedural vote. It was about ensuring tougher action against those who exploit vulnerable children. Yet, rather than showing leadership and standing up for victims, our MP **sat on the fence**.
Abstaining on such an important issue is nothing short of a **dereliction of duty**. The people of Woking deserve an MP who will take a firm stand on protecting victims and punishing offenders—not one who chooses to **look the other way** when it matters most.
If our MP won’t stand up against grooming gangs, what else will they refuse to take a stand on? Woking deserves better.
