Jonathan Lord MP recently attended the Royal British Legion Surrey Poppy Launch for 2022 at the Army Training Centre, Pirbright.
The main event took place in the chapel at ATC Pirbright and included the Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey, Michael Moore-Molyneux, distributing the first poppies in Surrey and a recitation of the poem "In Flanders Field" by Dame Penelope Keith.

Jonathan Lord MP said: "We remember those who have fought bravely for their country. Through this important annual appeal, we not only honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice, but we also raise vital funds for the RBL in order to support servicemen and servicewomen in need and, when appropriate, their families. We are grateful to the Commanding Officer and all at ATC Pirbright for hosting this significant and moving event."
