Disraeli Supper 24th March 2011 The next Disraeli Supper Club event will be held on Thursday 24 March and hosted by Ruth and Russell Riddy. The special guests will be Mark Pritchard, MP for The Wrekin and his wife Sondra. Mr Pritchard is Secretary of the 1922 Committee as well as being a past Woking Borough Councillor for Brookwood. Horsell and Woodham Spring Lunch 20th March 2011 The Spring Lunch is a new addition to the calendar and will take place at the home of Cllrs Michael and Anne Smith. Tickets £15 including a home-cooked traditional Sunday Lunch. Please note tickets for this event are now sold out.
WCCA Annual General Meeting 18th March 2011 The Annual General Meeting of the Association will take place at the Conservative Club. At the meeting, the year's accounts will be presented and the election of officers for 2011/12 will take place. You are warmly invited to have your say on the association's affairs. Light refreshments available.
Woking Association Music Quiz 12th March 2011 Following last year's succesful event, another music quiz is scheduled to be held at The Church of the Good Shepherd, Pyrford. As last year, Ron Whitehand has kindly offered to be quizmaster and there will be a Ploughman's Supper included. Tickets from £18 are available from the office.
Political Discussion Group 11th March 2011 Join the Political Discussion Group as Carl Thomson leads the discussion on "The Union - UK or DK" - united or disunited. The meeting at Churchill House, Chobham Road, is preceeded by tea and biscuits and starts at 7.30pm. Afterwards there is a visit to the Wheatsheaf Pub at around 9pm to continue the discussion. All are welcome and party membership is not necessary.
